WHAT IS VITAMIN C?

Its protective function inhibits the breakdown of Hyaluronic acid , which can be triggered by inflammatory processes or an acidic environment. WHAT IS THE BEST FORM OF VITAMIN C?

The pure form of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is very unstable when exposed to air and light. Our Vitamin C ampoules are therefore filled in airtight containers and protected from light. Due to the direct consumption of the individual doses, they do not require any additional additives. The use of Vitamin C in skin care products ensures longer stability of the active ingredient. In contrast to pure Vitamin C , the derivatives do not have to be used in formulations with a highly acidic pH-value of 3.0-3.5. In our Vitamin C serums, we have therefore opted for the stabilized forms of the derivative acorbyl glucoside in the Sensitive serum and 3-0 ethyl acorbic acid in our Intensive serum . These forms also Treat the skin in the less acidic pH-neutral range, which also makes them better tolerated.

Our Vitamin C Sensitive serum with 5 % of the stable and very well tolerated derivative ascorbyl glucoside is the ideal serum for your entry into active ingredient cosmetics with Vitamin C. It evens out your complexion, reduces redness and gives your skin a naturally fresh radiance.

The stable derivative ascorbyl glucoside is a mild, stabilized form of Vitamin C and is only gradually converted directly into active ascorbic acid in the skin. This means that it works throughout the day instead of releasing its full effect all at once. Ascorbyl glucoside is antioxidative and protects against light-induced skin ageing - for a radiant complexion. In addition, the extract from the Indian pennywort (Centella Asiatica, or Cica for short) has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. It reduces pimple marks and blotchy redness, for example on the nose and cheeks, for an even complexion. The amino acid arginine makes the skin soft and supple.

Our Vitamin C intensive serum with 10 % Vitamin C in stabilized form is perfect for anyone who already has experience with the active ingredient Vitamin C . It reduces pigmentation spots and pimple marks, prevents light-induced skin ageing and ensures radiant, smooth skin.

With 10 % ethyl ascorbic acid, the Vitamin C intensive serum is particularly suitable for lightening pigmentation spots and pimple marks. Mature skin in particular is delighted with the serum's strong well-aging effect. Ethyl ascorbic acid gradually lightens skin discoloration and, as a powerful antioxidant, protects against free radicals and oxidative stress. It stimulates collagen production, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. The extract of licorice root from controlled organic cultivation has an anti-inflammatory effect and also has a strong antioxidative and brightening effect. The amino acid arginine PCA helps the skin to retain moisture and strengthens the skin barrier thanks to pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA)
