Our Hyaluronic Acid lip balm SPF50+ not only provides lasting care for your lips, but also gives them comprehensive sun screen The skin on our lips is very thin and therefore particularly sensitive. The UV filters contained in this product protect it from the effects of harmful UVA and UVB radiation, while 0.3% hyaluronic acid and organic shea butter provide intensive care and moisture. This keeps your lips supple, protected, and with a light shine – whatever the weather and any time of day.

Apply the balm gently to the lips, repeat the application as needed throughout the day.

Do not store above 30°C.

Even sun protection products with a high SPF do not offer complete protection against UV rays. Small amounts applied reduce the protective performance. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Please note that organic UV filters only develop their full effect after 20-30 minutes. We therefore recommend that you do not expose your skin to the sun during this time. To maintain protection, be sure to refresh your sun screen after a while, especially after bathing, sweating or drying off.

WHY sun screen IS SO IMPORTANT

Protect your skin from the sun's UV rays is essential for many different reasons. UV rays damage your skin in the long term and the effects are often only felt years later, even if you don't notice them beforehand.the skin on your lips in particular is extremely thin, contains hardly any melanin and has no protective horny layer and is therefore particularly susceptible to UV damage. This is why it also needs sufficient protection from UVA and UVB radiation.

UVA radiation contributes to skin ageing, can destroy important structures of our connective tissue and change the genetic material of our cells: it penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin and forms free radicals. These destroy the supporting collagen in our skin and also prevent its regeneration. The elastin fibers also change, so that the elasticity and flexibility of our skin suffers. UVA radiation can also cause pigmentation disorders, sun allergies and, in the worst case, skin cancer.

UVB radiation penetrates the outer layers of our skin and causes sunburn, hyperpigmentation, allergic reactions and, in the worst cases, skin cancer.
