Water is the cheapest ingredient in cosmetics. It simply fills up the formula. It has no active effect.

That’s why JUNGLÜCK has decided to replace it with ALOE-CORE™, our active formulation base derived from aloe vera. Unlike water, ALOE-CORE™ actively hydrating, calming balances the skin.

In most skincare formulas, water is listed as the first ingredient and thus makes up the majority of the formulation. However, water is a neutral Basis has no active function for the skin.

ALOE-CORE™ is our commitment to changing that. In nearly every water-based JUNGLÜCK formula, therefore, it is not “Aqua” but ourBasis Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice that takes the top spot. This means that the effect begins not with the active ingredient, but with the Basis. That is the JUNGLÜCK formulation philosophy.

Oil-based products follow a different formulation principle, as there is no water to replace in these cases. ALOE-CORE™ is always recognizable by the badge on the packaging and by its first position in the INCI as Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice.
